Jeweller's chest. India, British colonial period, 19th century. Ivory, fine gilt bronze and porcelain. With its original key. Certificates of the Spanish Federation of Antique Dealers and of the Guild of Antique Dealers of Catalonia are enclosed, the last one updated in November 2022. Measurements: 16 x 19,5 x 15 cm. Octagonal-shaped chest-jewellery box from the English colonial period, manufactured in India in the 19th century. Its structure is panelled in elephant ivory and decorated with embossed ornaments in fine gilt-bronze. The top of the lid is bordered by a hand-painted porcelain medallion with an angel and flowers. The interior is lined with maroon felt. The original key is preserved.
