Measurements: 16 x 19,5 x 15 cm.
Octagonal-shaped chest-jewellery box from the English colonial period, manufactured in India in the 19th century. Its structure is panelled in elephant ivory and decorated with embossed ornaments in fine gilt-bronze. The top of the lid is bordered by a hand-painted porcelain medallion with an angel and flowers. The interior is lined with maroon felt. The original key is preserved.
