Indian oil lamp with Hebrew inscription

Oil lamp with a seven-spouted reservoir, featuring a long faceted and banded shaft with alternating crosses and a band of Hebrew calligraphy. The circular base surmounted by a disc also with a long calligraphic frieze. Nice caramel patina. The presence of the Jewish community known as Kochinim (from the city of Kochin) also known as the Jewish community of Malabar is attested in India since the 12th century.
