Graphite drawing on tracing paper, signed lower right and dated 74.
24,5 x 41 cm.
(slight insolation).
Provenance :
Offered to Monsieur Claude TROGER by the brother of François-Xavier LALANNE.
Claude TROGER was a drawing teacher from 1960 to 1979 at the Lycée Louis Le Grand in Paris.
LALANNE's brother worked at LEFRANC-BOURGEOIS, the manufacturer of the famous paint tubes for schools, and it is in these circumstances that he became friends with Claude TROGER.
Their friendship led them to dine together with François-Xavier on many occasions. In 1974, François-Xavier's brother offered his friend Claude this drawing which reminds us of the famous Rhino Secretary or Rhino Bar.
