BROUILLET CACHELEUX : Rare FRENCH DOLL with pressed cookie head, open mouth with two rows of teeth, fixed blue eyes. Body in articulated composition. Circa 1880-1890. Probably one of the 1st Schmitt or Steiner dolls. H: 43 cm. Slight firing defect/hole on the head (visible from the inside, above the eyes, about 1 cm long) and small firing defects at the corners of the mouth, bottom right and top left. Dirty. Wear and accidents to the body which needs to be reassembled.
