Westerwald narrow-necked jug, historicism, late 19th c., gray salt-glazed stoneware with cobalt-blue frame, spherical belly, narrow funnel neck, indented stand, hinged, slightly domed tin lid with thumb ratchet, mascaron below the spout, decoration partly in relief, on the front a Württemberg equestrian seal surrounded by a concentric heart pattern, body decorated with vegetal, floral as well as star-shaped patterns, tendrils and winged creatures, decorative bands on the foot, h: 41 cm.
