In 1974 it introduced the 595 Pickwick, a distinctive Italian-style Dune Buggy designed by the eclectic Alberto Rubbini and built on the floorpan of the 500 and powered by the Fiat type 126A.046 23-horsepower, 594cc engine from the 126. Thanks to the very light fiberglass bodywork, the unladen weight was only 450 kg, which became 610 kg when fully loaded. The Pickwick had a top speed of 112.4 km/h. The front suspension is independent-wheel with transverse leaf spring arms as well as the rear suspension, which is independent-wheel with swing arms and propeller springs. This 1976 example is in absolutely original condition and still features its first paint: it retains its original seats, steering wheel, gear knob and upholstery, while the soft top was replaced with another in recent years. The now-unobtainable floor mats are still branded with the manufacturer's logo. ASI certified Gold plate, this Pickwick represents a rare opportunity to acquire a car prized by those connoisseurs and enthusiasts who are looking for rarity and originality Rare and unobtainable, the Italian-style 'Dune Buggy' Less than 100 produced Original and preserved, orange Genoa plates ASI Targa Oro and CRS An interesting alternative to the classic Spiaggina Automirage S.r.l. of Bologna S.r.l., located at 55 Via Mazzini, Bologna, was an Italian company specializing mainly in the production of Volkswagen-based Dune Buggies.
