An Unwin & Rogers percussion knife-pistol dating: Mid 19th century provenance: England, Octagonal, 8 mm cal. barrel, made of white non-ferrous metal, with marks of the Birmingham test bench. The piston mounted in the breech. The cock placed on the back, made of iron. Mechanism needs overhaul, the cock does not hold the cocking position. Non-ferrous metal stock with the sides covered, with horn grips (small missing parts). Provided with two foldaway blades marked 'UNWIN & RODGERS' at the base and with internal compartment at the grip. Foldaway trigger. Complete with two removable tweezers. Rare.
