CITROEN TRACTION 15/6 1952 Type : 15 six Chassis number : 718 062 Engine number : 452759-3 Engine : 6 cylinders in line, 2 867 cm3 (Ø cyl. 78 x 100). 77 horsepower. Gearbox : Manual, 3 gears plus reverse. Traction. Mileage : 39 742 km on the odometer. Registration : French, 16 HP - 5 seats. Error in J3 which indicates CABR instead of CI. Technical control : In progress. Condition : Rolling, vehicle in its original condition, work to be done. Price : 15 000 €. The year 1952 is a turning point for the Traction : loss of the visible spare wheel in favor of a trunk making the trunk more roomy. Also, large rectilinear bumpers give the car a more aggressive look. The 15/6 allowed Citroën to establish itself as a manufacturer of cars whose performance approached that of the most prestigious manufacturers of the time. Being able to reach 135 km/h its nickname of "Queen of the road" was justified! In order to be able to take the road again in good conditions, our car will need some work. Its interior is original grey-green and shows some damage to the roof, the steering wheel is cracked and the rocker panels show some corrosion. Note the serial number 718 062 between 713 001 and 721 650 which allows to say that it is a 15/6 D.
