The Hoffmann 2 CV Cabrio is a kit car based on the platform of the Citroën 2CV from which it keeps the chassis and the front of the original body. Wolfgang HOFFMANN, a former German Citroen dealer, and his son Felix, developed the design and the first prototypes in 1988 in Hohenfurch, Upper Bavaria. The product was designed to be assembled by the car owner. If there are today about 1,700 Hoffmann convertibles in Europe, mainly in Germany and France, at least 250 vehicles were produced in the Hohenfurch workshops. Our example is in good condition with its houndstooth fabric interior.
