L.Leroy About 1822 Pocket watch in yellow gold 750 thousandths with repetition of the quarters, round case four bodies with double hinges, bezel and caseband guilloche grooves and gadroons, pusher of stop of the alarm, oval bélière operating the bow for the repetition. Dial in guilloche gold and silver for the minute track and Roman numerals painted in black, blued steel "Breguet" type hands, openworked dial revealing the escape wheel. Mechanical movement with cylinder key winding, two barrels, blued steel balance spring, adjusting racket, striking with two hammers on steel gongs with square sections. Case back finely guilloche, case No. 3342 and bowl No. 3268 engraved "Leroy Hger de SAS Mgrle Duc de Bourbon- A Paris - de Lahaye Jousselin" and on its circumference "This watch was the one worn in his last years by Monseigneur le Duc de Bourbon, Prince de Condé ..." . Diam. 55 mm, Gross weight : 106, 4 gr. The letter of the House of Leroy &Cie dated 27/09/ 1919 signed by L.Leroy is attached. This watch was bought in 1822 by his Royal Highness, the Prince de Condé, Duke of Bourbon then offered before his death to Mr de Lahaye Jousselin administrator of goods of the Family of Orleans (Letter of file of the House Leroy & Cie dated 27 September 1919).
