Drawing for the revival by Jean-Louis Barrault and his Company of the play by Jules Romains and Stefan Zweig after Ben Jonson, music by Georges Auric, at the Marigny theater on January 27th 1955. Main performers: Fernand Ledoux, Jean Desailiy, Jean Servais, Jean louis Barrault. This drawing was used as a frontispiece (page 2) to the ninth Cahier de la Compagnie Madeleine Renaud-Jean Louis Barrault (Juillard 1955). Barsacq uses, with a few details of proportions and hatching, his poster for the creation of the play by Charles Dullin at the Atelier in 1929.
