Magnificent Vincenti & Cie. pendulum France, 2nd half of 19th c., in the style of Neuchâtel pendulums, fire-gilt dial with a gentleman's half portrait in flat relief, Roman hour numerals and Arabic 5-minute numerals on enamel cartouches, blued steel hands, plate marked with the Silver Medal Award of 1855 and numbered, key-wound, striking movement on bell, ornamental pendulum, apple-green wooden case with polychrome floral painting and bronze fittings, HxWxD: 87/43/20 cm. Signs of age/fine dry cracks, light rubbing. Not tested for function.
