Fireplace clock with flanking Michelangelo figures France, probably around 1920, enamel dial with Arabic hours and quarter hours and polychrome floral festoons, plate marked S. Marti, strike on bell, ornamental pendulum on spring suspension, the cast zinc case flanked by figures after Michelangelo's personifications of night and day from the tomb for Giuliano di Lorenzo de Medici resting on arched base, the plinth of greenish and cream marble slab, HxWxD: 31/59/14 cm. Not tested for function.
