File on the military career of this cavalry officer, born in Amiens on February 4, 1761, and died in Tarascon on March 23, 1839.
In addition to minutes of memoirs or letters by Francière, there are documents on his arrest and detention in Grenoble in 1793 (signed by General Piston and Representative La Porte), his brevet de chef d'escadron (1795) and a certificate of good conduct, his resignation for health reasons (p.s. by Minister Petiet and Generals Walther and Montchoisy), and his applications for the Légion d'honneur and then for the decoration of Saint-Louis.
