The copperplate illustration by Gantrel and Cassin includes a large full-length portrait of Pierre d'Aubusson, a portrait of Mahomet II, a portrait of his son Zizime, a map of Rhodes and 7 large vignettes in the text. Pierre d'Aubusson, Grand Master of the Hospitallers, distinguished himself in the war against the Turks for the defense of Rhodes in 1480. Covers restored, good copy. (Hellwald, p.140).
