GENERAL OFFICER. Set of effects and souvenirs of Brigadier General Alfred Conquet (2nd part): Model 1926 steel helmet painted khaki, model 35 grenade badge adorned with 2 silver stars, inner cap, braided leather chinstrap, khaki cloth coat with eaglet collar (wear, moth holes, one larger hole on front), boot lapels adorned with 2 silver stars, Lavail tailor's label from the war school stating: "Colonel Conquet, June 1936", "putty" breeches in combed cloth, shoulder belt, revolver holster, binocular case with brown leather binoculars, attached is his enameled silver Legion of Honor commander's cross (enamel accidents) and a photo . ABE CONQUET Alfred , born on April 27, 1886 in Bellegarde (Aveyron), special military school 1904, lieutenant in the 57th RI in 1906, made the war of 14-18 with this regiment as captain, several times wounded, receives the Legion of Honor in 1916, he is a professor at the School of application of artillery in Fontainebleau from 1919 to 1922.
