MARCEL DUCHAMP (1887-1968) LETTRE AUTOGRAPHE SIGNÉE à René MAGRITTE. New-York, 26...
MARCEL DUCHAMP (1887-1968)
AUTOGRAPHIC LETTER SIGNED to René MAGRITTE. New-York, October 26, 1965, 2 pages in-8 in ballpoint pen.
Autograph letter to Magritte devoted in part to chess.
Having returned to New-York 8 or 10 days ago, I have not yet put my head in order and I will soon send you an etching that I have specially made for each donating artist.
Young Bobby Fischer is certainly a miracle of nature, but I fear that success will make his head explode and that he will never become more than one of the 25 best players in the world. Do you play a lot? I don't, except as a hobby.
