Large illuminated "P" initial, with a short descender, on vellum leaf. Fragment extracted from an antiphonary or a gradual (?). [France? c. 1500] 1 f. (fragment 17 x 19 cm; initial 15,5 x 12 cm). Under passe-partout and wooden frame: 25,5 x 27 cm (not studied outside frame). Very charming floral initial with colored floral infill on burnished gold ground and with blue ground inside the bowl of the letter. Joined: 2 blue and 2 blue red pen-flourished initials (9 x 9 cm). 17th c. Under gilt wooden frame: 17 x 17 cm (not studied outside frame). (5 pcs)
