The Statutes do not seem to be listed in the BnF.
The community of wheelwrights was established by Louis XII and the first statutes date from 1498. A specialist in wood and metal, the wheelwright designed, manufactured, maintained and repaired carriages, coaches, carts, litters, stretchers, horse-drawn carriages and other paraphernalia related to the transport of people and goods.
