Order of the Legion of Honour - a cross for officers, 2nd Empire
Detailed crafted order cross made of 18 carat gold with golden medallions (chips) enameled in blue on the rim, on it Napoleon's profile and the imperial eagle. White enameled cross arms (occasional hairline cracks), green enameled wreath. Movable crown agraffe. Hallmark (indistinct) on the band ring. Red silk ribbon (open at top) for officers. Partially slightly damaged, wear and age marks. Width of the cross 41,7 mm, weight without ribbon 17 g.
