A glass frame with St. Helena medals and a portrait of a bearer, 19th century.
A total of 43 St. Helena medals with their green-red ribbons (three renewed) pinned on green cloth. In display case in the form of a gilded profile frame with a glass window (hook closure) that can be opened from the side. With it an early reproduction of a carrier photo (dimensions picture oval 60 x 45 mm) under glass in passepartout (old paper pastedown open on three narrow sides). Partially slightly damaged, traces of age. Dimensions of the showcase 43 x 38 x 9 cm. Extremely impressive presentation.
