A Croatian Order of King Zvonimir 1st Class with Oakleaves
The Croatian Order of King Zvonimir was established by Ante Pavelić on May 15, 1941. The bearers of the Grand Cross and the 1st class were given the title of knight (vitez). Here a 1st class with oak leaves. The Cross is made from gilded silver and enamel. The set is contained in the red leatherette case of issue and the neck ribbon for the cross, brass button closure, gilt foil lettering of award identification on lid, inside of dark-blue velvet raised platform, lined in cream rayon. Medal diameter ca. 50 mm (excluding suspension loop), neck ribbon length ca. 33 cm. Box ca. 14 x 11 x 2.5 cm.
