A badge for graduates of Count Arakcheev's Cadet Corps in Nizhny Novgorod.
Silver, partly gilt, gold, partly enamelled, crafted in several pieces. On the reverse Cyrillic maker's mark "V.D.". Red enamel on the silver double-headed eagle replaced. Screw disc with silver counter plate. Dimensions 45 x 36 mm. Weight 19 g. Traces of wear. Elaborately crafted badge. Possibly manufactured in exile.
