A Russian token of the Empress's 1st Moscow Cadet Corps Katarine II, awarded to the Persian Ambassador Mirza Hassan Khan, dated 1894.
Silver, partly enameled. Rs. Cyrillic name of the wearer and date "Mirza Hasan - Khan 1894". Dimensions 42 x 20 mm. Weight 11 g. This may be Prime Minister of Persia Mirza Hassan Khan (1874 - 1932); during his political career he was also Minister of Finance, Minister of Interior, Minister of Education, Minister of Justice and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Very good quality.
