Atelier d'art Paul Haasen. Set of 31 original intaglio prints edited by Paul Haasen, mostly for bookplates. They were framed by the Haasen workshops (label on the back) and installed in the premises of the printing house for the presentation of their work at 23 rue Vanderzanne (Paris, 13e). This panel includes the bookplates of: Jacques Dogny (1895-1957, founder of the famous Bordeaux equestrian prize) by Dréville in 1927; Asa Guy Gurney (1868- 1960) and Rosamund Gurney (Asa Guy Gurney is best known for being a suspect in a famous Bank of commerce of Nex York robbery case, where the beginnings of fingerprint identification revealed the guilt of this bibliophile, they are pictured here in front of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris); two bookplates of Georges Villat (1883-1965) for S.P.B., Pierre Fort (1913?-1969?); Elsie Hollingsworth (1859-1958, daughter of the coachman of Prince John, 6th son of Queen Mary); Beaudry Leman (1878-1951, civil engineer, politician and banker from Quebec. Mayor of Shawinigan Falls, general manager of the Bank of Hochelaga and then of the Canadian National Bank) by the Sarrebourg painter E. Virtel; L B Cordeau by E. Virtel; Emil Schläpfer ( 1907-1930?Swiss poet, a copy of this ex libris is preserved in the collections of Leipzig) by Conrad Strasser (1878-1954) in 1914; Father Alwin Schmid (1904-1978, Bavarian priest pioneer of the construction of modern churches in Korea, a copy of this ex libris is preserved today in the museum of Leipzig) by Conrad Strasser (1878-1954) Ennemond Chaland (1890-1957, industrialist in St Chamond from a family of silk spinners) with his coat of arms by Blazeix in 1918; Pierre le Bourgeois (1879-1971, architect active in Nancy and its surroundings working in an Art Nouveau style then Art Deco, he is famous for his post-war reconstruction works notably in Longwy) by HD; Logan Ellsworth Tuthill (1910-1974) by Fernand Jean Barbier (active in the XXth century); Emile Choppé (1889-?(1889-?, military and industrialist from Calvados) by Josef Kaspar Sattler (1867-1931); Richard Edwin Myers and Alice Lee Herrick Myers (1890-1986), parents of the French-American surrealist artist Fanny Myers Brennan (1921-2001); M Piraud; Gabriel Cherrier (1869-1948, knight of the Legion of Honor, territorial captain of infantry at the headquarters of an army corps, war cross 1914-1918, knight of the Italian crown, notary active from 1902 to 1924 in Paris, mayor of Chevregny (02), buried at Père Lachaise) dated 1925 signed in pencil Agassi, referenced in the general directory of French ex-libris : C1147; Edmond Raphael by André Lavrillier (1885-1958, French medallist and engraver) composed after Boucher; Pierre Charton; François Xavier Janicot (1858-1926, mining engineer, company director, President of the Board of Directors of Chemins de Fer Nord et Sud and of the Omnium Lyonnais company, President of the Boudjoudourm Mines company, was one of the contributors to the Paris metro and an officer of the Legion of Honor) by J.
