JAPAN. Meiji period (1868-1912). Ivory Okimono in the shape of a shell resting on three smaller shells, inside a couple carved in polychrome indulging in pleasures, observed by a woman hiding behind a screen. Length 5 cm. Small lack. Joint: the CITES certificate, established on September 16, 2022 (on this CITES, the description is good, but there is an error for one of the two visuals). This lot is presented by Mrs Alice Jossaume, member of the SFEP, expert to the Court of Appeal of Paris, director of the firm Portier et associés.
