Large coffee pot called "surprise" or "cadogan
in turquoise blue enamelled porcelain in the shape of a peach of longevity, the handle in the shape of a branch.
Provenance: Marc Michot Gallery, Brugge
Reference: This piece is inspired by similar blue-white porcelain pieces from the mid-17th century found on the Hatcher cargo ship, sunk around 1642.
