Collection of more than 130 teapots with kettles. Elizabethan period, 19th century. Polychrome porcelain. Some flaws and faults. Measurements: 30 cm. high. the largest approx. We present a varied and extensive collection of porcelain teapots from the Elizabethan period. Hundreds of teapots, each with an individualised design, and also different in decorative patterns, with floral themes predominating above all in the form of sensual blossoms, as well as medallions with animalistic representations and landscapes (swans and bucolic scenes abound), as well as the pre-eminence of fine gold filleting. All this follows ornamental patterns that were in vogue in both decorative objects and Elizabethan furniture: the neo-Rococo trend (which in the rest of Europe was paralleled by the French Louis Philippe and Second Empire styles, as well as the English Victorian style) is reflected in the field of porcelain by the predominance of rounded forms and pronounced curves, but also by a revival of the Romantic aesthetic.
