"Head of a young Neapolitan.
Patinated bronze and marble base.
Slightly damaged.
Signed on the back.
Measurements: 34 cm (height); 7,5 cm (height, base).
Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Vincenzo Cinque is considered as one of the fathers of the Neapolitan sculpture of the 20th century. Working mainly in bronze, Vincenzo Cinque was particularly famous for his small fishermen and laughing children in various poses, although he also produced female figures in the Art Nouveau style.
