Pomander
Silver. Spherical body on round conical base; the wall with engraved acanthus and stylized flowers. The screw-in carrying ring holds six hinged segments with small sliding lid, each engraved "KANEL", "SCHLAG", "ROSMARIN", "MUSCAT", "ROSEN", "NEGELKEN" and numbered 1 to 6. The screw-in foot with fixed spoon in the pomander column and six soldered silver beads; monograms "TS NS" engraved on the underside. Unmarked. H 5,8 cm, weight 79 g.
Probably South Germany 17th century.
