Large Revaler lidded jug Silver; partially gilded. On four ball feet in relief the cylindrical body with profiled lip rim and strong volute handle. Above the foot bases cartouches in relief around high oval portrait medallions with bow crown. The wall with finely engraved acanthus vines between three round medallions with allegorical representations of the seasons spring, summer and winter. The slightly domed hinged lid with corresponding decoration and a pomegranate as a thumb rest. On the top a fourth engraved medallion with an allegory of autumn. Marks: BZ Reval, MZ Johann Seliger (1696 - 1710/1715, Leistikow p. 297). H 21,3 cm, weight 1.510 g. Reval, Johann Seliger, around 1700.
