In-8 (21,2 × 16,7 cm) of 22 pp. and (1) f., paperback, cream paper cover printed in red and black. First edition. Limited edition of 225 numbered copies: one of 213 on pur fil (n° 33), second large paper after twelve on hollande. Copy of the first issue, with the title on the cover in double printing. It includes an original gouache by Serge Vandercam on two pages framing the poem in exergue, reserved for the first copies. Second book published by the author, after Mon livre d'ogre published in Ostend in 1957. It had been announced under the title Une tache d'ancre by the publisher; the author preferred Minuit.
