Illustrated catalog of the first retrospective of Marcel Broodthaers' work, organized from April 13 to 25, 1967 at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels.
Preface by Pierre Restany entitled J'attends ton coup de fil, Marcel, with a reply from Marcel Broodthaers: Mon cher Pierre.
"In the Court-circuit exhibition and publication, Broodthaers wove together the introduction of images into his largely object-based practice with the industrial developments that gave rise to movements such as Pop art and Nouveau Réalisme.
Complete with the attached leaves, list of works exhibited on a double in-8 leaf printed on both sides and the presentation of the Raven and the Fox, 1 in-8 leaf.
Precious copy with, on the cover, an autograph letter signed by Marcel Broodthaers to Marcel Hicter (1918-1979), in green ballpoint pen.
