Robert FILLIOU. Collective poem. La Louvière, Daily-Bul, 1968. Booklet in-16 (13,7 × 11 cm) of (12) ff. stapled, black paper cover printed in white. First edition, from the "Poquettes volantes" collection. Limited edition of 1000 copies, this one n° 65. Sixteen pages have been left voluntarily blank so that the reader can write on the first page the names of five to seven objects he would like to get rid of, then the following ones by fifteen persons of his choice. A precious copy, individualized by Marcel Broodthaers and his daughter Marie-Puck, with this autograph note from the artist at the head: This copy was "snatched" by Marie-Puck (8 1/2 years old), Marcel Broodthaers' daughter and her mother....." The blank pages justify - according to his explanation - this larceny worth 3 D.M. of which Mr. Werner is the victim. This is therefore page 1. Ten of the fifteen pages contain autograph inscriptions or drawings by Marcel Broodthaers: some of them announce the booklet Jeter du poisson sur le marché de Cologne (Throwing fish on the market in Cologne), which was published in 1973 by the Michael Werner Gallery, the victim of the theft mentioned in the introductory note. The other five mostly mix drawings and inscriptions by Marie-Puck with autograph additions by her father. Copy complete with the loose leaf "Cache-mots". (Moeglin-Delcroix, Esthétique du livre d'artiste, 1997, p. 104, with reproduction: "Although it has all the external characteristics of a book, Poème collectif (1968) is not a book either. A book in potential, at most, a virtual space of poetry. [...] The artist is not interested in publishing results. What interests him is to continue to propagate "poetry", to give others the means to discover themselves as artists").
