MEDIEVAL IRON SWORD
Ca. 1100-1200 AD.
A forged-iron sword with a slender hand guard and a discoid pommel. The cross-style two guard has a slight central protrusion on either side and moves freely along the hilt. The narrow triangular blade is complete with a fuller situated near the edge, tapering downwards to form the acutely pointed tip. Oakshott pommel type G.
