MEDIEVAL IRON DAGGER WITH SQUARE POMMEL
Ca. 1300 AD.
An iron dagger with a slender cross-shaped hand guard and a square pommel. The narrow tapering blade is straight on the top edge, the lower edge gently tapering to a point. The blade is decorated with eight inlays of conical shape. Well-balanced in hand and beautifully proportioned.
