Rare complete table service for 12 guests in historiated linen damask including a tablecloth and thirteen napkins, decorated in four vertical registers with the arms of France and the Dauphin, the equestrian representation of Louis XV, the city of Tournay (Antoing) besieged by cannons and a cavalry clash between the French and Prussians. Coordinated towels.
Courtrai, 18th century, circa 1745.
