Louis XVIII, roi de France (1814-1824)
Rare bisque bust representing him in uniform slightly turned to the left, resting on a porcelain half-column pedestal, with a square black base, fluted decoration painted in gold and royal blue, centered on an oval cartouche in a laurel wreath inscribed "Louis le Désiré", held by garlands of laurel leaves. Restoration to the gold pedestal and minor chips to the base.
On the back a handwritten label indicating the origin.
Manufacture of Niderviller, around 1814-1815.
Marked in hollow under the base.
