TASSE ET SA SOUCOUPE DU SERVICE À DESSERT DU PRINCE JOACHIM MURAT (1767-1815)
Miniature cup and saucer for child in hard porcelain, the marli with red-orange bottom is decorated in burnished gold with the effect of a frieze alternated with flowers, palmettes and stylized foliage, bordered with gold nets. Good condition, slight firing cracks on the back of the saucer.
Manufacture Darte, Paris, Empire period, circa 1805.

Probably from the dessert service probably used by Joachim Murat, Grand Duke of Berg, at the Hôtel de Thellusson and then at the Elysée Palace in Paris.
