Graphite pencil on paper drawing by Ivan Shishkin, 1832 to 1898, a Russian landscape artist and academic. The artwork depicts a sketch of a forest. Titled Edge of the Forest. Signed by the artist, dated 1886 and marked Siversky in the lower left. Authenticity confirmation and signature by V.A. Lagoda-Shishkina in the lower left. Victoria Lagoda was the sister of Shishkins wife, Olga. Siversky is a settlement near Gatchina, Leningrad Oblast, Russia. Black mat. Collectible Antique Graphic Art, Russian Landscape Painting.
