A rare officer's cuirass
dating: First Empire provenance: France, Consisting of iron breast-plate and back-plate with brass rivets. The back-plate provided with armoured leather straps with brass rings on lion's heads and brass buckles finely engraved with floral motifs. The breast-plate marked '207A', the back-plate marked '208A'. height 37 cm.
