A cavalry officer's helmet, epoch king Umberto I of Italy
dating: about 1880 provenance: Kingdom of Italy, Light and elegant silver skull, beautiful black fur, gilded brass crest with the monogram 'U' under crown, ornament with Savoy cross, gilded brass gorget, cockade. Brown leather sweat-band inside with gold decoration and remains of the silk cap. Kept in its beautiful leather case lined with red velvet. height 30 cm.
