Rare and exceptional cigarette case in silver, lacquer and shagreen.
Each side features the title motif in black lacquer on one side and in shagreen with black highlights on a silver background on the other.
The knob in onyx.
The interior in vermeil.
Presented in its original case signed in gold by Raymond TEMPLIER - Paul TEMPLIER et Fils - Joaillers Fabricants - 3 place des Victoires Paris - inside the lid.
Circa 1927-29.
A small fracture to the knob.
Signed Raymond TEMPLIER on the inside and bearing twice (on each inside face) the hallmarks of Master Goldsmith Jean Trotain (sometimes mistakenly written Trottin), goldsmith executing for Raymond TEMPLIER, and of guarantee.
