WORK CIRCA 1925-30 IN THE TASTE OF ÉMILE-JACQUES RUHLMANN (1879-1933) & THOMAS GÉOGRAPHE-ÉDITEUR Desk globe. The base, in patinated wrought iron, consists of four powerful scrolled feet topped by a rotating frieze of large spheres. The lithographed globe and its graduated support are welcomed by a section of arch surmounting the base. The base was made to receive a globe that probably already existed.
