CHINE, XVIIIe siècle Statue in gilded bronze representing Shakyamuni Buddha seated in vajrasana on a base formed by a double lotus, hands in abhishekhamudra, dressed in the monastic habit, on the back, a coiled snake whose seven tails fall down along the back. He is represented with a serene face, half-closed eyes, his hair in curls, topped with the ushnisha. 20.5 x 14 x 10.5 cm
