SMALL EMBOSSED COPPER AND PARTIALLY GILDED ALTAR TABLE Nepal, 19th century A SMALL PARCEL-GILT COPPER REPOUSSÉ ALTAR TABLE Nepal, 19th century Of rectangular shape, the side and front panels finely and intricately worked in repousse with a central wrathful mask in relief flanked by two naga against an intricate open scrollwork ground, above a scalloped foot, all below layers of finely chased bands of lotus petal lappets, mythical beasts, and openwork swastikas below row of lotus petals around the table top, parcel-gilt and embellished with coral and turquoise inlays. 49.5cm (19 1/2in) wide x 32cm (12 5/8in) deep x 24cm (9 1/2in) high.
