MOTO GUZZI CONDOR 500 (REPLICA) The single-cylinder racing machine Sports car of the 1930s Replica obtained with original parts Participation and historical races and revocations Devoid of documents Produced by Moto Guzzi in the years immediately prior to World War II, the Moto Guzzi Condor is a leading player in competitions of the period. Agile and light, it was well suited to mixed trails, and its affordable cost for the time made it attractive to private riders. Often battling with the Gilera, its lifelong enemies, it achieved numerous successes in the best-known competitions of the period. World War II unfortunately put an end to that roaring, golden period. The model offered in the auction is a Phoenix risen from the ashes. It is the result of a reconstruction, obtained by the will and passion of Roman racer Gino Passamonti, of two specimens abandoned after the events of the war and purchased by him at one of the many camps for ARAR remnants in the postwar period.
