ASTON MARTIN DB9 STEERING WHEEL, 2007 The elegant British convertible 300-mph outlier. Chassis: SCFAD02AX7GB08257 Color: Mariana blue metallic Original mileage of 56,248 km. Of French origin (2007) then registered in Italy (2009) Fully documented service Gorgeous color combination Launched in 2003 as the successor to the DB7, the DB9 was the first model to be built at Aston Martin's new plant in Gaydon, Warwickshire. Like the DB7, the DB9 was designed by Ian Callum. The DB9 is powered by an upgrade of the 5.9-liter, 48-valve V12 engine found in the DB7 Vantage, producing 470 hp, enough power to propel the aerodynamic convertible from 0 to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds, for a top speed of 305 mph. The aluminum engine is mounted as far back in the chassis as possible while the final drive is positioned in front of the rear axle, resulting in 85 percent of the car's mass being between the axles for perfect weight balance. The car's bodywork is in really good, like-new condition-there are no notable flaws, bumps or dents to speak of. The Mariana blue metallic paint job is also in excellent condition. The lights, transparencies and wheels are perfect, as are the trim and other exterior accessories. This car shows only 56,248 original documented miles and an extremely complete service record ASTON MARTIN DB9 STEERING WHEEL, 2007 Original mileage of 56,248 km. Originally from French (2007) and then registered to Italy (2009). Full documented service Launched in 2003 as successor to the DB7, the DB9 was the first model to be built at Aston Martin's new factory at Gaydon, Warwickshire. Like its DB7 predecessor, the DB9 was styled by Ian Callum. The DB9 is powered by a development of the 5.9-liter, 48-valve, V12 engine found in the DB7 Vantage, which produced 470bhp, an output sufficient to propel the aerodynamic cabrio from 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds on its way to a top speed of 305 km/h. The aluminum engine is mounted as far back as possible in the chassis while the transmission/final drive is positioned ahead of the rear axle, resulting in 85% of the car's mass being sited between the axles and a perfect 50/50 front/rear weight distribution. The car's bodywork is very good indeed: there are no noticeable blemishes, dinks, dents, or creases to speak of. The 'Mariana blue metallic' paintwork, too, is in very good condition. The lights, lenses and wheels are also impressive, as are the badging, trim and other exterior fixtures and fittings. This car shows original 56,248 km and a complete service documentation. The hood is also in excellent condition and goes up and down as it should
