Known as the 'Duetto,' the model gained worldwide public recognition after starring alongside Dustin Hoffman in the film 'The Graduate,' but was only produced for two years before being replaced by the 1.8-liter Spider Veloce 1750 in 1967. In 1971 the Spider underwent a restyling, getting a boxy tail, a move that coincided with the introduction of the 2.0-liter 2000 model. This first-generation 'round-tail' example of Alfa Romeo's classic Spider has undergone a complete restoration and is described by the seller to be in excellent condition.
