Built on the Y-Type sedan chassis, it featured the earlier TC series drivetrain with a modified hypoid rear axle, rack-and-pinion steering and the availability of left-hand drive. TD production ceased in 1953, when MG debuted its replacement, the TF. Probably one of MG's most successful vehicle cars, the T series was produced from 1936 to 1955. This beautiful 1952 MG TD is presented in a brilliant shade of white with a black interior and matching soft top. The car is powered by a four-cylinder engine with twin SU carburetors, mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The interior features Jaeger instrumentation, banjo-style steering wheel and dashboard-mounted rearview mirror. A retro-inspired car in its day, the TD has always found a niche in the classic car market.
